Kimi Walker is the Associate Vice President of Product Stewardship at Canadian Tire, responsible for the strategy and implementation of programs to ensure product safety and environmental compliance, to drive continued improvements in worker fairness, respect and safety in the factories manufacturing Canadian Tire’s Owned branded products and to reduce CTC’s environmental impact through development of product circular capabilities.
With over 25 years in retail finance, strategy, technology and product quality, Kimi is a trusted, transformative leader who advances Responsible Procurement and Circular Economy at Canadian Tire through collaboration, innovation and systemic change with both internal and external partners. She enables her team to advance social and environmental changes through holistic approaches and driving systemic change.
Kimi actively participates in a number of not-for-profit Boards. In addition to her role as the Nirapon Treasurer, she is the Chairperson of the Canadian Electrical Stewardship Association Board of Directors and a Board Member of Trade Facilitation Organization Canada, a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve lives by creating sustainable trade partnerships for exporters from developing countries with Canadian and foreign buyers.
Kimi has a MBA in International Business from McMaster University and a Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
