Dhaka, April 24, 2026 — Marking today the thirteenth anniversary of the horrific Rana Plazabuilding collapse, Nirapon remembers the victims and honors the resilience of the people affected by this tragic event.
This catastrophe changed the landscape of industrial safety in Bangladesh.
In the wake of that tragedy, the Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety, and later Nirapon, was founded to help create and sustain a culture of workplace safety in Bangladesh.
As we mark this day with deep solemnity, we remain committed to our work with members and partners to provide the resources, tools, and guidance necessary to advance worker and workplace safety for all.
