Nirapon Joins GIFIS Community To Help Advance Industrial Safety In Bangladesh

Nirapon is proud to announce that it has become a member of the Global Initiative for Industrial Safety (GIFIS) community, the global network dedicated to improving industrial safety by advancing the integration of emerging technologies and influencing policy, especially in developing countries.

GIFIS is behind the Manifesto for Global Industrial Safety, which serves as a roadmap for managing risks and prioritizing worker well-being.  GIFIS is an initiative led by the University of Cambridge, United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and Lloyd’s Register Foundation.

Formed earlier this year, the initiative also engages policymakers, manufacturers, innovators, industry leaders, regulators, academia, and international organizations across supply chains. By joining GIFIS, Nirapon is taking a proactive step toward driving meaningful change across industry globally.

“Safety is not just a regulatory requirement – it’s a core value,” said Francisco Pereira, GIFIS Programme Manager. “Integration of technology into industrial processes offers great promise but also demands rigorous attention to safety. By working alongside GIFIS, Nirapon can help ensure that innovation is matched by responsibility.”

As part of the GIFIS community, Nirapon will contribute its expertise to shared research, best practices, and community-driven solutions – supporting our collective mission to reduce accidents, enhance resilience and know-how, and elevate workplace safety worldwide.

“We are delighted to become part of the GIFIS Community,” said Lewis Temple, CEO, Nirapon. “This membership underlines our commitment to worker safety, innovation and the application of emerging tech across industrial operations to create safer workplaces. We look forward to contributing to, and benefiting from, the collective expertise of this global network.”
