The Nirapon team have been extremely busy since the October newsletter: hosting three Town Hall meetings in Dhaka; updating the board in Washington DC on our plans for 2026, and also showcasing our safety program to experts from Viet Nam and India.
We held a series of Town Hall meetings with over 400 factory managers in Dhaka, and I was genuinely impressed by the level of engagement across the three sessions. The team did an excellent job introducing our new, simplified reporting format, as well as providing expert guidance on effective chemical management storage and safety. You can read more about the lively and engaging Town Halls here.
We also hosted a delegation from the Life and Building Safety Initiative (LABS) which works on factory safety across several Asian countries. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and showcase the progress and practical innovations of the Nirapon approach. More on their visit here.
Earlier in November 2025, we also held a very productive meeting of the Nirapon Board in Washington, D.C. The Board reviewed the progress made over recent months and endorsed our ambitious plans for 2026. A key focus for the coming year will be strengthening our engagement with our members, with an emphasis on clearer, higher-quality reporting. We will also publish our first Impact Report early in 2026.
I would also like to wish everyone and their loved ones a very happy 2026 and look forward to your continued partnership and commitment to building safer workplaces across Bangladesh.
