Nirapon hosted a members meeting on November 4th, 2025 in Washington DC, bringing together global brand retailers, wholesalers, and Nirapon board and leadership for discussions on current priorities and the plans for 2026.. The group represented a cross-section of our membership, creating an ideal setting to connect in person and share diverse perspectives.
A key focus of the meeting was a walkthrough of Nirapon’s updated reporting format, which is now shorter, clearer, and more actionable. Members had the opportunity to understand how the updated structure highlights priorities more effectively and supports meaningful dialogue between factories and members’ companies. The new reporting format has been piloted in phases since late 2025, with full implementation planned for Q1 2026.
Members also received updates on the Bangladesh operating environment and reviewed Nirapon’s 2026 Advocacy Plan which outlines both short term priorities and longer term goals for industry influence. This discussion included insights on Nirapon’s next phase of growth, collaboration, and program development.
We would like to thank Nirapon Board members who were able to attend and to everyone who supported the session. Your continued engagement, questions and collaboration play a key role in strengthening our work.
More opportunities to connect and participate are being planned for 2026 and we look forward to engaging with members and other key stakeholders throughout the year.
Nirapon Member: “It’s good to have everyone in the room focused on a singular mission of improving the safety of Bangladesh factories. I appreciate those willing to share their perspective so we can continue to learn, grow, and together make a positive impact.”
