Nirapon will expand the number of factories participating in the Safety Management Program (SMP) starting in Q2 (April). This step reflects progress in the program and responds to requests from many members who have asked about adding additional factories.
The plan is to begin with an initial group of factories, with capacity reviewed for each quarter as the program grows. Factories with two or more Nirapon members sourcing from them will be included. These factories have participated in other safety initiatives and will now have the opportunity to benefit from Nirapon’s Safety Management Systems approach, further strengthening their ongoing safety efforts.
The list of eligible factories was shared with the relevant members in March. We will continue to provide quarterly updates on progress.
Expanding participation in the SMP gives members greater visibility and confidence in factory operations. More details will follow soon.
